Seibersdorf Research

Research center for the private sector and government agencies. More than 700 employees at our locations across Austria. The largest application-oriented information enterprise in the country - Austrian Research Centers.

We design products and processes – from drafting to development and testing to industrial applications. In close cooperation with our partners. For mutual benefit, for the exchange of competence and know-how.

We offer the public valuable services: from radiation protection to food inspections, from doping tests to the measurement of electromagnetic radiation.

We link knowledge with the courage to innovate. We help keep Austria modern. The future has a name: Austrian Research Centers.

Modern research is an interdisciplinary, networked approach not confined to one specific system. In this way we achieve results that prevail in the market and provide maximum benefit for the public. The success of Austrian Research Centers is based on a staff of 800 who have made us Austria's largest applied research centre.

Austrian Research Centers cooperates with researchers at universities and other institutions of higher education or research all over the world. What is especially prominent in this field is cooperation at the European level. Austria's most important enterprises are also partners of and shareholders in Austrian Research Centers. We cooperate with them to design and develop products and procedures, from the first draft to industrial application.

Our work is always aimed at concrete use and actual benefit for the public: from food inspection and air pollutant measurement to protection in the case of nuclear accidents.

We contribute to the consolidation and expansion of Austria's position in the context of international competition.
